Agnes Faye (Meadows) Jordan, 69, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, died Thursday evening, August 12, 2010. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Baptist Church.

Agnes was born, May 7, 1941, in Glenwood, WV, to the late Roena Meadows. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Jordan, one brother and one sister.

Agnes is survived by two sons, Bernard Jordan, Jr and Hugh Daniel Jordan both of Gallipolis Ferry, WV and three daughters, Edna Christine Dewitt of Pt. Pleasant, WV, Mary Ann McDonald of Mason, WV and Jennifer Darlene Brown of Leon, WV along with eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 15, 2010, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Pt. Pleasant, with Reverends Joe Hammack and Bob Patterson, officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Baptist Cemetery (Crab Creek). Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6 until 9 p.m., Saturday, August 14, 2010.
