Albert James Scarberry, 92, of Point Pleasant, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at his home. He was retired from the City of Point Pleasant, having worked in the Sewer Dept. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in World War II. He was born October 12, 1924, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Abraham and Alice Scarberry. In addition to her parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Louie Lee Rodgers.

Albert is survived by his daughters, Kelly Martyn and Kimberley Hairston; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Chuck Stansbury officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Henderson, with military gravesite rites being conducted by the W.V. Honor Guard and the American Legion, Mason County Post #23. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
