Anita Diane (Tucker) Thomas, 56, of Columbus, OH, passed away into the arms of her Savior, on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Mt. Carmel Hospital, in Columbus. She worked for Aramark in food preparation for J.P. Morgan Chase, at Easton. She had also attended the New Hope Bible Baptist Church. She was born on June 26, 1956, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Harold R. Tucker and Mary K. (Higginbotham) Tucker, of Point Pleasant.
In addition to her mother, Diane is survived by her Husband, Joseph "Carley" Thomas; her daughter, Alicia D. Thomas; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Charles and Brenda Tucker, of Banner Elk, NC, Eddy and Terri Tucker, of Columbus, OH, Mary and Leo Buck, of Point Pleasant, Noland and Linda Tucker, of Eleanor and Kathy Wise, of Point Pleasant; special family, Bonnie and Jim Rothwell, of Whitehall, OH and Terry Dye and Jerry Hoffman, both of Columbus, OH.
Diane's life will be remembered at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013, at the New Hope Bible Baptist Church, with Rev. Steven Sanderson officiating. Burial will follow in Tucker Cemetery, in Grimm's Landing. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Sunday evening, April 28, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
