Anna Virginia Darst

Anna Virginia (Rogers) Darst 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away into the loving arms of her Lord on Thursday September 10, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.

Anna was born in Mason County WV on March 5, 1940, to the late Worthy Earl and Margret (Ord) Rogers. She was a graduate of Wahama High School. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Stephen Darst, and a brother, Worthy Leo Rogers.

Anna worked 40 years as a secretary, office manager and just about anything else that was needed at Old Town Farms. She also spent 25 years working alongside her family at the 22nd St. Produce market in Point Pleasant. She was also a devoted member of Concord Baptist Church in Henderson, WV.

Anna leaves behind two sons; Mark (Jody Darst and Jason (Heather Darst. Four beautiful granddaughters, Alexandra (K.C.) Huth, and Rebekah Darst, Olivia (Joe) Snyder and Sydnee (Jaxon) Darst four great-grandchildren, Morgan and Rori Huth and Emerson, and Kolbie Clark along with three brothers, William Rogers of Vienna, WV, Charles Rogers of Washington, WV and Richard Rogers of Kettering , Oh.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday September 13, 2026, beginning at 1:00 officiated by Chad Foreman as Kirkland Memorial Gardens.

Anna’s family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers that stepped int to assist with keeping her in her home as well as her Hospice nurse Amanda for the comfort care she provided not only Anna but her family as well.
