Barbara J. (Bass) Cornell, 81, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her home. She was born June 25, 1942, a daughter of the late Harry and Freda (Gardner) Bass. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cornell; daughter, Kay Boswell; and her brothers and sister.

Barbara is survived by her life partner, Tom Conrad; children, Robert (Nancy) Cornell, of Apple Grove, Rodney (Stephanie) Cornell, of Point Pleasant, Holly Chapman, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Skyla, Latasha, J.R., Mooch, Alisha, Jesica, Lee, Ashley, Brandey, and Bubba; brother, Ronnie Bass, of West Columbia; and many extended family and friends.
