Barbara J. (Cheesebrew) Sibley, 87, of Point Pleasant, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  She was a homemaker and had worked at Cablevision for many years.  She was also a member of the Bellemeade United Methodist Church. Barbara was born June 2, 1935, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Howard and Marjorie (Rainey) Cheesebrew.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Carl Sibley; daughter and son-in-law, Penni (Mike) Grubb, of Point Pleasant; son, Dean Sibley, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Sean Grubb, Ryan (Amber) Grubb, and Kyle (Destane) Grubb; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Kinley, Kylee and Myra; sister, Judy Williams, of Point Pleasant; niece, Leigh Ann Rankin-Gillispie; nephew, Tony Rankin; and extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial service for she and her husband at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastors Bob Patterson and Tony Rankin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the Bellemeade United Methodist Church, 510 Burdette St., Point Pleasant, WV, 25550.
