Barbara L. (Shelton) Woodruff, age 85, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed into the loving arms of her Savior, on Thursday, March 18, 2021, with her family by her side.  She was a retired telephone operator and attended the Lake Bonnet Fellowship Church, when residing in Florida, and the New Covenant Christian Church, in Huntington.  She was born June, 17, 1935, in Logan, WV, a daughter to the late Walter Shelton and Madge (Ellis) Hill.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Lee Woodruff; and her step-mother, Judy Shelton.

Barbara is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Debbie Woodruff, of Stafford, VA and daughter and son-in-law, Abby J. and Andy Hussell, of Proctorville; grandchildren, David (Laura) Woodruff, and Andrew Woodruff, Emily Hussell, Adam (Emma) Thomas, ; great-grandchildren,  Kai Woodruff and Tinley Thomas; and sisters, (Carolyn Counts, of Logan, WV, and Helen (Ron) Flanigan, of West Union, WV.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Jeff Wickert and Jeff Dienst officiating.  Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. CDC guidelines will be observed, with social distancing and face-covering mandates in place.
