Belva L. (Jeffers) Yester, 79, of Apple Grove, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  She was a homemaker.  She was born October 21, 1941, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Johnny and Myrtle (Scarberry) Jeffers.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Yester; and grandson, Matthew Miller.

Belva is survived by her son, Bobby Yester, of Apple Grove; daughters and son-in-law, Beverly Yester and Barbara (Donald) Miller, all of Apple Grove; grandchildren, David (Kami) Yester and Melissa Miller; great-grandchildren, Lexey Pearson, Skyla Hawk, Jaxson Pearson, Lucas Pearson and Cienna Yester; and sisters, Darlena Chapman, of Point Pleasant and Phyllis Jeffers, of Gallipolis Ferry.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating.  Burial will follow in Beale Chapel Cemetery, Apple Grove.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.  CDC guidelines will be observed and face coverings will be required.
