Bessie (Mattox) Wilson, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was retired from Appalachian Power and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was born October 10, 1924, in Middleport, OH, a daughter to the late Carl W. and Edna (Ord) Mattox. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eustace O. Wilson.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick "Andy" and Carol Wilson, of Gahanna, OH; granddaughter, Katherine Wilson; and brother, Otho Mattox, of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
