Betty Jo (Miller) Gardner, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Point Pleasant, WV. Betty Jo was a homemaker and had worked at various businesses in the community. She was a member of Heights United Methodist Church. Born December 7, 1929, in Sissonville, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Vaughn and Icie Belle (Holmes) Miller. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. Gardner; brother, Leroy Miller; and sister, Anna Lee (Miller) Johnson.

She is survived by three daughters, Victoria Von Gardner of Point Pleasant; Olivia (Greg) Garrison of Point Pleasant; and Rhonda Lee (Paul) Youngman of Port Orchard, Washington; and one son, Jeffrey (Kathy) Gardner of Point Pleasant; and one grandson, William Gregory Garrison.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2008, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, With Rev. Carl Swisher and Rev. Bobby Woods officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, on Sunday, July 6, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Betty Jo's care has been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
