Betty Lue Ambrose Snodgrass, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at the Holzer Senior Care, in Bidwell.
Betty was born July 8, 1925 in Sir John's Run, WV to the late John William Ambrose and Clara Compton Ambrose.
Betty graduated high school and married the late Norman "Buck" Lyons Snodgrass and made her home in Point Pleasant, WV. she worked and retired from Kroger's grocery as a Head Cashier.
Betty was a very active and loyal member of Heights United Methodist Church of Point Pleasant as she was a member for over 80 years.
Besides her parents and husband Buck, Betty was preceded in death by her brother, John William "Jack" Ambrose.
Betty leaves behind a host on nieces and nephew; sister-in-law Corrine Ambrose, nieces, Janet (Floyd) Cleland, and Rebecca (Carlos) Geyer, great-nephews, John (Kim) Ambrose and Adam Geyer, great-great-nieces and nephews. Dana Lynn Ambrose, John William "Jack" Ambrose and Isaac Louis Ambrose.
Per her request services will be a private graveside service at Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant, WV.
