Beulah M. (Jordan) Bechtle, 89, of Southside, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday evening, August 13, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. Beulah was a homemaker and a member of the Concord Baptist Church and had attended the Harmony Baptist Church. She was born April 28, 1922, in Mason County, a daughter to the late Everett and Carrie (Dye) Jordan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bechtle; brothers, Harry, John, and Ralph Jordan; and sisters, Ruby Razor, Reba Marcum and Helen Myers.

Beulah is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Howard Lee and Suetta Bechtle, of Leon; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Fred Lanier, of Henderson; grandchildren, Howard Lee and Lisa Bechtle II, Joseph and Beth Bechtle and Donna and Chris Legg; great-grandchildren, Alexander Bechtle, Jason Bechtle, Allison Legg, Malea Bechtle and Ashley Legg; brothers, William Don Jordan, Larry "Buck" Jordan, James Jordan and Wilbur Jordan, all of Gallipolis Ferry; sisters, Jewell Durst and Phyllis Bonecutter, both of Gallipolis Ferry; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred McCallister officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, August 16, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
