Beverly Kay (Smith) Carder, 55, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Sunday morning, September 25, 2011, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Beverly was a homemaker. She was born April 10, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a daughter to Gene and Susie Smith. Her father preceded her in death and also a brother, Gene Wayne Smith.

In addition to her mother, Beverly is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Mike" Carder, of Point Pleasant; her daughter, Brandi Nicole and Shawn Pennycook, of Point Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Madison and Blaze Pennycook.

In keeping with Beverly's wishes, there will be no public services and burial will be conducted privately.
