Bonita June Riggs age 75, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 at Pleasant Valley Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born July 1, 1946 in Point Pleasant, WV to the late Lloyd Wamsley and Lorene Wyant Wamsley.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings ; Marjorie Hart, Gladys Schmitt and Roger Wamsley.

Bonita was a ray of light, a complete joy to be around and all that knew her loved her and her refreshing personality, she loved her church family, and working in her flower beds, but the biggest love for Bonita was her family, her kids and grandkids kept that sparkle in her eye. She was a very fun loving and outgoing woman who was always excited and never missed a parade, not only would she wave and cheer and dance as the floats and participants came by, she was know to be a little competitive when it came to collecting the treats as they would be thrown from the passing vehicles. Never a dull moment!

Bonita was a wonderful and devoted homemaker and for years also worked as a cook in Point Pleasant at the Community Center.

She leaves behind three Children; Angela Riggs, Elaine (Johnathan DeWitt) Coe and Blaine "BJ" Riggs, grandchildren; Rena Riggs, Steven Wooten; Jamie Coe, Brandon Coe, Miranda Coe, Ali Coe, Haylee DeWitt, Kylie Riggs, Nyles Riggs and Braxton Riggs, eight Great-grandkids siblings; Bill Wamsley, Robert Wamsley, Patty Wamsley, Doris Stewart and Mollie Barker and her special best friend, Julie Jefferies.

Services for Bonita will be private at her request.
