Brandee Leann Buck "Punky" passed away January 19, 2010, at Point Pleasant Nursing Home. She fought a brave battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was born January 26, 1984 in Point Pleasant, WV, daughter of Debra and Basil Greene of Leon, WV and Rick and Jennifer Buck of Gallipolis, OH, who survive her. She is survived by her grandparents Ann and Amos Hayes of New Haven, WV, Carol and Oscar Pack of Cheshire, OH, Charles W. Buck, Jr., of Englewood, FL and Etta Sue Sturgeon of Rio Grande, OH. Brandee graduated from Point Pleasant High School in the class of 2002. She enjoyed playing soccer, softball, basketball and wrestling. Her life dream was to become a veterinarian. She loved spending time with family and her best friends Courtney Jeffries and Ozzy her favorite dog.

She is survived by a brother, Jeremy Buck of Leon, WV; step-brothers, Ethan Greene of Akron, OH and Adam Greene of New York and Jeremy Gilbert of Point Pleasant and Brandon Gilbert of Rio Grande, OH; two step-sisters, Cortney Gilbert of Point Pleasant, WV and Erin Gilbert of Rio Grande, OH. She is survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews who she loved very much. A special aunt, Shelly Hager of Rio Grande, OH and a special cousin, Kelly Goad of Bidwell, OH.

She had a special friend, Josh McCoy who proceeded her. A special thanks to all those who loved and supported her and made her life what it was. We would like to say thank you to the Point Pleasant Nursing Home Staff and Doctors for all your care and support you gave. Also, thank you Pastor Steven Little for being there for Punky and her family in this time of need.

At her request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 22, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, WV.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to the Point Pleasant High School Soccer Program.
