Obituary

Calvin Huey Keefer, 84, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Mason County, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 14, 2009. He was a retired Ironworker for Local #22 in Indianapolis and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a baptist by faith. Born June 11, 1924, in Charleston, WV, he was a son to the late Lawrence and Ora Keefer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Patsy Campbell and a great-great-grandchild. He is survived by his wife, Laura (Hill) Keefer; son and daughter-in-law, Calvin Ray and Wanda Keefer, of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and his sister, Rosella Hawk, of Columbus, OH.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert L. Patterson, II officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, in Leon, WV. Visitation will be held at the funeral home two hours prior to the service on Saturday.
