Carl E. Sibley, 87, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital.  He was retired from Akzo Nobel Chemicals and was a member of the Bellemeade United Church. He was born March 16, 1935, in Gallipolis, OH, a son to the late Ed and Dorothy (Earles) Sibley.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara, who passed just 60 hours before her husband.

Carl is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Penni (Mike) Grubb, of Point Pleasant; son, Dean Sibley, of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Sean Grubb, Ryan (Amber) Grubb, and Kyle (Destane) Grubb; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Kinley, Kylee and Myra; sister-in-law, Judy Williams, of Point Pleasant; and extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial service for he and his wife at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastors Bob Patterson and Tony Rankin officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the Bellemeade United Methodist Church, 510 Burdette St., Point Pleasant, WV, 25550.
