Carlisle DeWitt, 73, of Logan, OH, and formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Main St. Terrace Care Center, in Lancaster, OH. He was retired from Kaiser Aluminum, was a 1968 graduate of Point Pleasant High School, and also a U.S. Army veteran. He was also an active bowler. Born May 24, 1950, in Putnam County, he was a son to the late Luther W. and Macile (Carr) DeWitt.

Carlisle is survived by his children, David (Rob Denton) DeWitt, of Wimouma, FL, and Melissa (Robbie) DeWitt-Taylor, of Logan, OH; grandchildren, Reegan and Nathanial Tayor; siblings, Keith DeWitt, Hazel DeWitt, Faye Leport and Ray DeWitt, all of Point Pleasant; and extended family and friends.

There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Concord Cemetery, with Pastor Mark Oliver officiating, and military graveside rites. Visitation will be held at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
