Carol Jean (Williams) Gibeaut, 72, of Point Pleasant, died Friday morning, January 28, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. She was a homemaker.

She was born, March 7, 1938, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to the late Jeanette Williams. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rodney H. Gibeaut; a sister, Mary Krantz and a brother, Robert Williams.

Carol is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda (Jeffrey) Collins of Proctorvillle, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Scott (Suzie) Gibeaut of Catlettsburg, KY; one nephew, Keith O'Rourke of Logan, OH; one niece, Rita Coakley of Lancaster, OH and four grandchildren, Jeffrey Collins, Brianna Collins, Chase Gibeaut and Logan Gibeaut.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant, with Pastor Bob Patterson, officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, from 12 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. before leaving for the graveside service.
