Carolyn Sue Denny 68, of point Pleasant WV went to her heavenly home on Friday May 12, 2023. She was born May 17, 1954 to the late Buddy and Ileen (Bonecutter) Chapman. Carolyn worked as a nursing assistant taking care of lots of elderly people over the years, until she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to retire at an early age. She was a fighter and not only did she beat breast cancer once but she beat it twice. She attended House of Praise and Worship for several years until her health no longer allowed her to leave her home. She still enjoyed having church in her living room with her loving husband as often as they could.

I n addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by 2 brothers; James Chapman and Mitchell Chapman, along with her son, whom she could not wait to see again Charles Ray "Bubby" Denny.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Charles "Chuck" Denny, her daughter and son in law; April and Adam Bryant, 4 grandchildren; Anniston Noel (Tyler) Lane, Tyler Jay Swisher, Lexie Bryant and Chase Denny. 2 great grandchildren whom were the apples of her eye; Annalynn Lane and Trestin Lane. 5 sisters; Vicki Pearson, June Price, Donna "Gidget" Bush, Linda (Robbie) Davis and Peggy (Ernie) Jones, 3 brothers; Dusty (Gail) Chapman, Bruce Chapman and Charlie Chapman. Brother in law; Bill Denny and sister in law; Nina Denny. Special Aunt Betty Bonecutter. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will be deeply missed!

Services for Carolyn will be at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Thursday May 18, 2023 with visitation beginning at 11:00, funeral service officiated by Pastor Doug Mitchell will begin at 1:00. Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens.
