Carolyn Y. (Oshel) Glover, age 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at her home. She was a retired educator of over 40 years, having taught in Summit Co., Ohio and Mason County, after graduating from the University of Akron. She was also a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was born November 7, 1932, in Point Pleasant, a daughter to the late Clarence and Velma (Hussell) Oshel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Lynn Glover and her sister, Christine (Oshel) Wandling.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, John William Glover; daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn Annette (Bruce) Baker, of Moundsville, WV; sons and daughter-in-law, John Randall Glover, of Columbus and James Brian (Beth) Glover, of Point Pleasant; grandsons, James Tyler (Jordan) Glover and John Cole Glover; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence (Donna) Oshel; sister and brother-in-law, Catherine "Babe" (Senneth) Wandling; and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Fr. Prakesh Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow in Lone Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, on Monday evening, April 17, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m.
