Cathy Yvonne (Henry) Meek age 52, of Point Pleasant passed away Thursday October 13, 2016 while at Ohio University Medical Center in Columbus, Oh., after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hanley Meek, her parents Charles and Reckie Henry and sister-in0law Vickie Henry.

She is survived by her daughter and caregiver Renee Meek, her granddaughter, Jayme Campbell, whom she treasured, and her best friend and companion "Trouble". Cathy is also survived by her brothers, Chuck (Becky) Henry of Gallipolis Ferry WV, George Henry and Randy Henry of Point Pleasant, WV and a sister in law, Ruth Henry of Gallipolis, OH. Her nieces; Jessica (Jacob) Edmonds, Crystal (Tyler) Hupp, Carrie Lane and Suzanne Hughes See, nephew; Scott Duncan, and Caleb (Tater) Duncan. Great nieces; Maycee McCartney, Kenzie Lane, and Shawna Duty, great nephews; Gavin Chapman, Breydon Henry, J.J. McCartney, Matthew Hupp, Hunter Lane, Jackson Edmonds and Shawn Marshall Duty.

Cathy leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends as well as her cousin and special friend Peggy Ward of Gallipolis Ferry WV.

Services have been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home and will be Wednesday October 19, 2016 at the funeral home, visitation will be from 11 to noon with the funeral at noon officiated by Pastor Bo Burgess. There will also be a dinner for all following the committal at the Jordan Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
