Obituary

Charlene K. Yonker "Snake", age 73, passed peacefully on March 7th at Lakin Hospital where she resided for the past 15 years. Charlene lived a life of adventure, and leaves her family and friends, with colorful stories that will be remembered fondly.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Lee Chavers of Waynesville, North Carolina, sisters, Cindy Woods from Augusta, Kentucky, Lisa Duque, from Tampa, Florida, and Sally Witteveen of Woodland, Park, Colorado, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charlene's final wishes were to donate her body for medical research at a University of Osteopathic Medicine in Ohio  in hopes of helping others.
