Charles Ernest Kay's Obituary
Charles Ernest Kay, 74, of Southside, WV, passed away, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was a farmer and also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was born, November 16, 1936, at Southside, WV, to the late John A. and Clara (Yauger) Kay,
Ernest is survived by his wife, Judith Ann (McGuffin) Kay; two sons, Charles Kay of Richmond, VA and Walter Kay of Salem, VA; one daughter, Maria Kay VanNess of Richmond, VA; one brother, Henry (Wanda) Kay of Southside, WV; two granddaughters, Ashley and Laura Anne Kay and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery, Point Pleasant. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 1227 3rd Ave., P.O. Box 938, Huntington, WV 25712.
