Charles L. Riffle Sr.

Charles Leonard Riffle Sr, 81 of Flatrock, WV passed away peacefully after a short illness Thursday, February 24, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Charles is survived by his wife of 53 years, Connie S Riffle of Flatrock, WV; beloved fur daughter, Missy Rose; son Charles Riffle Jr (Buffy Riffle); his beloved granddaughter Kyra N Riffle (Bristol Holley); Great grandpup, Dezzi of Apple Grove, WV and his grandpups, Marli, Mason and Lady of Flatrock,  WV.

He is also survived by and who was by his bedside is his adopted daughter, Donna Tackett, Clester Tackett, Billy and Castle Tackett of Vinton, OH; Brother in law, Charles ( Elly ) Edwards of Scott Depot, WV; Sister's in law, Brenda (Charlie) Brightwell of Dayton, OH; Drema (Jim) Stover of Leon, WV and a host of nieces and nephews.

Special Friends, Harold (Egg-man) Taylor Leon, WV and Jim and Roxxanne Cooper of Point Pleasant.

He was born to Earl F Riffle and Carrie (Connolly) Riffle on Dec. 20, 1940 in Mason County.

He was preceded in death by his  brothers, Leroy and Curtis Riffle; Special nephew, Mark (Ellen) Riffle of Gallipolis, OH, his in-laws, Robert (Bob) Mabel Edwards and a very special fur son, Max.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran during the Era of the Cold War. He was an Armor Crewman, and awarded the Sharp Shooter Pin.

He was a life long member of the VFW, Post 9926 of Mason, WV.

Charles retired from American Alloy Steel of New Haven, WV after 32 years of service.

In his past time, He always enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Upon his request, there will be no services and his care is entrusted to Crow and Hussell Funeral home of Point Pleasant.
