Charles Arthur Stutler age 88 of Leon, WV passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 30, 2024, at Mount View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ripley, WV

Charles was born August 27, 1935, in Mason Co. WV to the late Spencer and Corda Snyder Stutler, besides his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife Hilda Waugh Stutler, siblings Ernie, Donald, Mable, Dollie, Betty and Clarie and two sons-in-law, Marshall Herrold and Larry Willet Jr.

Charles was a loving husband and father who loved his family, he was an animal lover and was especially close with his dog's Lady and Ted it was kind of normal thing in Leon to hear him outside yelling for his dogs to come home even though they were close the neighbors knew Charles was ok because they could hear him calling those dogs.

He loved to fish and work on art projects whether it be woodworking or just tinkering he loved to create new and different things, speaking of tinkering he loved to (work) tinker on cars and he was always working and trading vehicles to the point the family was never sure what they would see him pull up in.

Charles is survived by his children; Chuck Stutler, Lynn Herrold, Teresa Willet, Tina (Roger) Casto and Amanda Stutler, he leaves a legacy of 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and even a few great-great-grandchildren along with one sister, Marie Thaxton and a brother, Bob Stutler along with several nieces and nephews that will all miss him deeply.

Services for Charles are going to be private, and he will be reunited with the love of his life Hilda at the Wolf Valley Cemetery in Leon, WV.
