Charles Leslie "Les" Wardell age 57 of New Haven, WV passed away Tuesday June 26, 2018 at Holzer Emergency Department in Pomeroy, Oh.
after a long battle with Cancer.
Les was born January 8, 1961 in Naples,FL. son to Charlotte (Hyatt) and the late Harold Douglas Rainey. He was a hard working man and member of Boilermakers Local #667 where he worked until his health would not let him do it any longer.
Les loved his family and spending time with them when he could, he took joy in arguing with his sisters over just about any subject that he could get a rise from them on.
Les is survived by his loving mother; Charlotte Rainey, children; Chris and Nathan Wardell and Mellissa Cortez all of Naples, Fl. sisters; Michelle Rainey-Hill and Leeann (James) Zerkle grandchildren; Elijah and Elliot Cortez and his long-time partner Janie Leary.
In keeping with his wishes all services for Les will be private.
