Charlotte Audra (Russell) Crawford 87 of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday January 6, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Hospital with her family at her side.

Charlotte was born January 11, 1926 to the late Eddie and Helen Russell in West Columbia, WV.

Her family included one sister, 4 brothers and 10 step brothers and sisters. Charlotte lost her mother at the age of 7, and stepped in helping to raise her younger siblings and maintaining the household.

Charlotte was a homemaker and a very good one at that, she was a very simple and practical woman that understood the value of hard work, she enjoyed working around her home and was even an avid hunter when she got the chance to go, she loved her family and enjoyed visits and stories of her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Charlotte is survived by her son; Bill (Peggy) Crawford, daughter; Margaret (George) Shell grandchildren; Jody(Mark) Darst, Billy A. Crawford III, Debbie(Darrell) Mitchell, and Vanessa(Brian) Sayre, seven great grandchildren; Derek, Kayla, Cody, Ally, Bekah, Brandon, and Brady.
She is also survived by one brother; Grant Edward Russell, and several step brothers and sister.

There was be a private graveside service on Tuesday.
