Clarence L. Durst age 86, of Leon, WV was called to Heaven, at his home in Leon, WV. Friday, April 27, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by loving wife, Elva; his parents, Ed and Bertha Durst, brothers, Blaine, Roy and Delbert Durst; sisters, Gladys Keefer, Mildred Hawkins and Sylvia Ridenour; his grandsons, James and Bryan Durst; and his granddaughter, Kimberly Kirker.
Clarence is survived by his children; James Durst, of Point Pleasant, Marsha McClure, of Columbus, OH, Don (Edna) Durst, of Leon, Bonnie Durst, of Point Pleasant, Marvin (Brenda) Durst, of Leon, Glenvor (Pam) Durst, of Leon, Garell (Wendy) Durst, of Lockbourne, OH and Carolyn (Rob) Humphreys, of Leon; sister, Hazel Brummond, of Barberton, OH; brother, Virgil (Dottie) Durst, of Cottageville; sisters-in-law, Irene Durst and Jackie Sizemore; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; special niece, Debbie (Roger) Whittington; special neighbors and hunting buddies, Louie Shirkey and Bob "Whiskers" Milam,
A tribute to Clarence's life will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday April 30, 2018, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home with Pastor and family friend, Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Baden Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home, on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the Baden Presbyterian Cemetery Fund, c/o Debbie Whittington, 2460 Evans Rd., Leon, WV 25123.
