Clemit Alan Long, 60, of Point Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2015. He worked for 34 years at M&G Polymers Plant, in Apple Grove, WV. Clem was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America, Local 644L. He was also a member of Main St. Baptist Church. He was born September 23, 1954, a son to the late John and Doris (Humphreys) Long.

Clem was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather who leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Brenda (Sopp) Long; his sons, Jonathan (Ragan) Osborne, Joshua (Stephanie) Osborne and Jerrod Long; granddaughter, Scarlett Osborne; brother, Glenn (Linda) Long; four sisters, Lydia Davis, Karen (Dave) Jackson, Debra (John) Bryant, Ellen and Joe Smith; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many friends and co-workers.

Clem's life will be remembered at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, July 26, 2015, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. James Kelly, III officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Military honors will be rendered by military personnel from within his family.
