Connie Lynn Hayman Huizar, 67 of Hartford, WV died after a long struggle with cancer June 30, 2016 in Hartford, WV.

Born February 4, 1949 in Gallipolis Ohio, she was the first daughter born to John Emery and the late Ruth Lyons Hayman. She was a CNA and a home health care worker. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary Denise, grandson Scott Duncan and mother Ruth Hayman.

She is survived by her daughter Beth Boggess, Mineral Wells WV, son John and his wife Janet Smith of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and daughter Tonya Duncan of Apple Grove, WV. Grandchildren, Joshua Smith of Henderson WV, Ashlee and husband Johnny Spaulding of Gallipolis Ohio, Craig Smith of Gallipolis Ohio, Britnee Blackburn of Gallipolis Ferry WV, Allee Duncan of Apple Grove, WV and Jeremiah Smith of Reynoldsburg Ohio and 4 great grandchildren. Emillee and Makenzzee Griffin of Gallipolis Ohio and Zoe and Elijah Smith of Gallipolis Ohio. Her father, Johnny Hayman of Point Pleasant and sisters Peggy Herdman of Belton Missouri, Mick Painter of Point Pleasant and Carla Bride of Kentucky.

Connie's life will be remembered Saturday July 9, 2016 at Crow Hussell funeral home in Point Pleasant, WV at 2 p.m. Connie's nephew, Chris Herdman will be officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Special thank you to Cabell Huntington Hospital, the Joan C Edwards cancer center, Dr Bou Zegheib, Melissa Parsons RN and his entire staff. Dr. freeman and staff, Dr. Mitchell, Dr. Feddock of the University of Kentucky and his staff and all the surgeons, nurses and CNAs that have taken part in her care the last 11 months. Thank you to her very close friends and neighbors.
