Dane Rayburn Walters, 34, of Point Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, while visiting his dad. He was a deckhand for McGinnis Inc. He was born October 4, 1991, in Point Pleasant, a son to Charles "Chuck" Walters and the late Valerie (Rayburn) Walters. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Myla Walters.

Dane is survived by his father, Charles "Chuck" Walters, of Point Pleasant; daughter, Jade Walters, of Middleport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chad (Courtney) Walters, of Point Pleasant, and Ryan (Erica) Walters, of Gallipolis; nieces and nephews, Owen, Ava, Rilynn and Colton Walters, Rebecca and Warren Sydenstricker; and many extended family and friends who will all miss him greatly.
