Boone (Daniel) Schultz age 70 of Leon, WV passed away early Friday morning August 11, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born June 27, 1953 in Elmwood, WV to the late Homer Schultz and Phyllis Barr Wheeler. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother; Danny Schultz, sister; Vickie Wheeler, brother-in-laws; Larry McClure, Harold Shirley and Ike Morris and one sister-in-law Jeanette Morris.

Boone is survived by his loving wife Beulah Annette McClure Schultz, daughter Amanda Schultz of Columbus, OH, son and daughter-in-law Ethan and Amanda Elizabeth Schultz of Point Pleasant, WV. Granddaughters; Avy Muon and Zoey Schultz, grandson Bear (Jeffery) Schultz, brothers and sister; Alex (Brenda) Schultz of Point Pleasant, WV, Connie (Leonard) McCarty of Letart, WV, Angie Shirley of Leon, WV and Treva (Gail) Clutter of Mount Alto, WV, brother-in-law, Terry (Denise) McClure of Fredricktown, OH and sister-in-law Marsha McClure of Columbus, OH along with several nieces an nephews.

Boone was a 1971 graduate of Point Pleasant High School ,he was a very hardworking and loving man who enjoyed time with his family and working around his home when he wasn't mining coal or driving his truck. He worked and retired from Southern Ohio Coal Company mine #2 and drove truck and retired from PI&I Motor Express.

Services for Boone will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday August 14, 2023 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Doug Garten officiating, and burial will follow at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Monday.
