David Lynn Freeman, 64, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Hospital Emergency Dept.  David was a member of the Apostolic Gospel Church, in Gallipolis, where he ran the church sound and played music.  He was also a U.S. Navy veteran.

David was born on February 11, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio, a son to the late James Everett Freeman and Faye Eileen (Loper) Ratliff.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Freeman; and sister, Sue Sleigh.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Terri (Whitesel) Freeman; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Pastor Michael Chapman, of Point Pleasant, Tammy and Bill Rinehart, of Columbus, OH, Samantha and Philip Mount, of Bidwell, OH; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Brittany Freeman, of Columbus, OH; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Lee Freeman, of TX; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Rich Rupp, of Columbus, OH and Carolyn and Mike Gordon, of OK.

David's life will be remembered at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2019, at the Apostolic Gospel Church, 1812 Eastern Ave., Gallipolis, with Pastor Michael Chapman officiating.  Crow-Hussell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of the Freeman Family.
