David L. Spears, age 58, of Letart, WV, passed away on Friday morning, June 8, 2018, at the Jackson General Hospital Emergency Dept.  David had been employed with the Mason County Public Service District, until his retirement in 2016.  He was born February 23, 1960, in Mason County, a son to the late Larry Spears and Shirley (Mayes) Spears, of Point Pleasant.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by his sons, David Spears, of Southside and Raymond Spears, of Letart; daughter, Maria Dawn McNeely, of Gallipolis; brother, Chip Spears, of Point Pleasant; sisters, Darlene Yonkers and Dorla Hill, both of Point Pleasant; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as many friends, who all will miss him deeply.
