David R. Stricklen, 59, of Point Pleasant, died at home on June 8, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Dorthea Stricklen; children, Joshua and Jobeth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Sara Stricklen and Tom and Rhonda Stricklen; and faithful furry companion, Shasta.

David was employed as a service coordinator by Jackson County Developmental Center. David was preceded in death by his father, William H. Stricklen.

As per his request, there will be only a private family service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Main Street Baptist Church.
