David L. Wallace, 50, of Point Pleasant, passed away, on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at his home. David had been a captain on the river and attended the Mt. Alto Church of Christ.

David was born on September 10, 1960, in Lawton, Oklahoma, a son to the late Wendall L. Wallace and Linda Wallace, of Point Pleasant. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his wife, Gaila (Fetty) Wallace; two sons, Jason L. Wallace and David W. Wallace; daughter, Cassie M. Wallace and her fiance, Timmy Stamper; grandson, Caleb Stamper; and his brother, Roger Wallace, all residing in Point Pleasant.

David's life will be remembered and celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011, at the Henderson Church of Christ, with Randy Shobe officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, one hour prior to the service.
