Dena Maxine Pack, age 77, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV.

Born on January 17, 1942 in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late James W. Shrewsbury and Thereasey Caudill Shrewsbury Smith. Ms. Pack is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Trent and her husband, Earnest; son, Alan Pack and his wife, Carolyn; grandchildren, Hunter Trent, Autumn Trent and Katie Pack; brother, James T. Shrewsbury and his wife, Arlene; her niece, Lisa Shrewsbury; and other extended family members.

She loved to walk her dogs in the woods and had a passion for gardening. She also enjoyed riding her golf cart. Ms. Pack often said that her "life's work" was to care for and take in as many animals as possible.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, Friday, August 2, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson and Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
