Diana (Boone) Jones, 65, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2011, at her home. Diana had worked for the Cabell County Board of Education and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was also a member of the Altizer Baptist Church. Diana was born on March 17, 1946, in Huntington, a daughter to the late Howard and LaChresha (Warren) Boone.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Gary Jones; her daughter and grandchildren, Jennifer Smith, Hannah Smith and Nicholas Smith, and their father and very dear friend, Bruce Smith, all of Apple Grove; her sister and brother-in-law, Alicia and Bane Hicks, and their children, Lauren, James and Jason, of Myrtle Beach,SC and Chelsea, of Barboursville; her brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Susan Boone, and their children, Amanda and Jonathan, all of Austin, TX; and her special friends, Karen Kessick and Betty Hughes.

Diana's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2011, at the First Church of God, 2401 Jefferson Ave., Point Pleasant, with Pastors Carl Swisher and Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will conducted privately. There will be no visitation.
