Diana (Mattox) Melton, 65, of Ripley, WV, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Holzer Medical Center. She was retired from Arbors of Gallipolis. She was born October 19, 1956, in Leon, a daughter of the late Earl Richard and Hazel (Rollins) Mattox. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Junior Mattox, and many extended family.

Diana is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Melton, son, Michael Melton, of Ripley, and daughter, Misty Melton, of Leon; brother, Richard Mattox, of Leon; sisters, Jeannie Davis and Carolyn Russell, all of Leon; extended family; and her canine companion, Hershey.

There will be a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Jack Yauger Cemetery, Leon.
