Donald Kapp, 64, of Evans, WV, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and was a member of the Mason County American Legion, Mason County Post #23 and the Marine Corps League of Ripley. Donnie was also a former Deputy Sheriff, with the Mason County Sheriff's Department and a former employee of Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.

Donnie was born January 8, 1951, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late J. Gory and Mary Evelyn (Moore) Kapp. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, J. Gory Kapp, Jr. and Dawson E. Kapp.

Donnie is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Mandy and Kevin Craft, of Point Pleasant; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Pam Kapp, of Point Pleasant and Gary Scott and Joan Kapp, of Akron, OH; and his sister, Patricia Kapp, of Mobile, AL.

Donnie's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Carl F. Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in Creston Cemetery, with military honors being rendered by the American Legion, Mason County Post #23. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
