Donald Ray "Possum" Parsons, age 48, of Point Pleasant, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, January 14, 2010, at his home. He was a former employee with Madison Coal and Supply and was a member of the Sandhill Church of Christ.

Born April 13, 1961, he was a son to George Bosley and Shirley Williams, of Point Pleasant. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Parsons; his daughter, Miranda Parsons; step-children, Susan Hill, Sandy Clark, Stephanie Shirley, Sonia Stone, Shelly Woyan and Randy Stone; 17 grandchildren and brother, Charles Robert Parsons.

Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 16, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at the Sandhill Rd. Church of Christ, with Pete Allinder, Minister officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crow-Hussell Funeral Home.
