Dorothy Jean "Dot" (Litchfield) Spencer, age 75, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord and her beloved husband Jackie, on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at her home, with her family by her side. Dot was a homemaker and a member of the Krebs Chapel Church. She was born on September 3, 1937, in Mason County, a daughter to the late J. Lawrence and Rilla (Rainey) Litchfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie and her brothers and sister.

Dot is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Teresa Spencer, of Ashville, OH; her daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Jerry Dean and Karen and Bill Mattox, all of Point Pleasant; her grandchildren, Amy and Chad Perry, Matthew Spencer, Amanda Dean, Brad and Summer Dean and Britlyn Wandling; her great-grandchildren, Jackson and Lilah Perry, and Kyla and Alyssa Grimes; her sister, Reba Burdette, of Point Pleasant; her brother, Otis Litchfield, of Point Pleasant; and a host of other family and friends who will cherish her memory.

Dot's life will be remembered at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Lambert officiating. Burial will follow in Suncrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Krebs Chapel Church, c/o Judy Holland, 2616 Jackson Ave., Point Pleasant, WV, 25550.
