Dorthea A. (Clark) Stricklen, 91, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at Wyngate of Barboursville.  She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, where she was the church secretary for many years.  Also, she had worked as a telephone operator and was an auxiliary volunteer at Pleasant Valley Hospital.  She was born August 27, 1928, a daughter to the late Joe and Ada (Brown) Clark.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Wimpy" Stricklen; a son, David R. Stricklen; two brothers, Roy and Bobby Clark; and sister, Irene Denuit.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, William "Bill" and Sara Stricklen, of Hilliard, OH and Tom and Rhonda Stricklen, of Milton, WV; grandchildren, Mac Stricklen, Ann Lathey, Josh Stricklen, Jobeth Zavitka, and Brianna Stricklen; six great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Dawn Clark.

Due to the current restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will observe a private graveside service and burial, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens.  You may offer condolences to the family via this webpage.
