Dottie Sue Durst of Patriot, Oh passed away March 4, 2025, at Holzer Medical Center of Gallipolis following a prolonged illness.

She was born September 28, 1944, to the late Ace and Icy Craig of Leon, WV.

Dottie was a homemaker who worked side by side with her husband, she enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Virgil Durst, brother Thurman and Doris Stone, sister, Carolyn and Tony Burdette and a granddaughter Brandy Craig.

Survivors include her son, Steve (Carol) Craig, Daughter Anita (Brent) Cheesebrew, grandson Jeremy Craig, and granddaughter Ashley Cheesebrew.

Services for Dottie will be Friday March 7, 2024, at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV., Visitation will be from 1-2 with funeral service officiated by Pastor Russ Moore beginning at 2. Burial will follow at Baden Presbyterian Cemetery in Leon, WV.
