Dwight R. Greenlee, II, 42, of Point Pleasant, went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday evening, April 5, 2013, with his dad and sister at his side. Dwight was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the National Guard. He had been a security guard at ICL Supresta and was currently working with AB Construction. Dwight was a member of the First Church of God and loved spending his free time fishing.
Dwight was born on October 18, 1970, in Harlan, KY, a son to Dwight R. Greenlee, of Point Pleasant and the late Dorothy L. (Dunlap) Greenlee.
In addition to his father, Dwight is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Richard Combs, of Hazard, KY; brother, Mike Dunlap, of Point Pleasant, niece, Cassandra Callahan, of Corbin, KY; special great-nieces and nephews, Courtney, Brevin, Natalie and Cameron; grandfather, Dwight W. Greenlee, of Hazard, KY; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dwight's life will be remembered at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow in Leon Cemetery, Leon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 p.m., until the time of the service. At Dwight's request, all who attend are encouraged to dress casually, as he would have liked.
