Edna Ordith Lane age 79 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away early Wednesday November 23, 2022 in Huntington, WV at The Emogene Dolin Hospice House after a long battle with cancer.

She was born June 13, 1943 in Walnut, WV to the late Asa John and Beaulah Hively Porter. Edna was a hard worker and retired from the Clement State Tree Nursery, she loved her family, playing bingo and spending time at tthe Senior Center in Point Pleasant.

Besdes her parents she is preceded in death by a son, Arnold Leroy Lane Jr. and two sisters, Mary Cathern McDade and Hazel Fultz.

Edna is survived by two daughters; Patricia (Charles) Sprouse of Millerburg, Oh. Teresa (Randy) DeWeese of Point Pleasant and her son, Gary Lane of Point Pleasant. Also surviving 9 grandkids, 26 great-grandkids and 4 great great- grandkids.

Services for Edna will be on Monday November 28, 2022 at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home at 2:00 with visitation beginning at 1:00. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Flat Rock.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Huntington and Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House for taking great care of their mom during her illness.
