Edward Dale Buckner, 58, of Point Pleasant, died Monday evening, February 9, 2009, at the Holzer Medical Center, Gallipolis. He worked for Geico Insurance as a mailroom clerk and was a member of Low-Country Presbyterian Church in Bluffton, South Carolina.

He was born, December 11, 1950, in Charleston, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Charles O. and Jane (Moose) Buckner.

He is survived by cousins, Paul and Becky Wood of Point Pleasant, with whom he made his home and Sanna Kolb of Atlanta, Georgia.

Private graveside services will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Father Ray Hage, officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Stained Glass Window Fund at Christ Episcopal Church 804 Main Street Point Pleasant, West Virginia, 25550
