Edward Joseph Hussell, age 82, of Point Pleasant, WV, went to his heavenly home on March 11, 2022, at Camden-Clark Hospital, in Parkersburg, from a brief illness that he fought hard to overcome.  Eddie was born December 29, 1939, in Point Pleasant, to the late Andrew J. and Sylvia Jane (Love) Hussell.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Ann Hussell; grandson, Craig Matthew Mayes; siblings, Louis A. Hussell, Sr., Robert William Hussell, Sr., Marion Boone Hussell, and infant sister, Edna.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Connie Jo (Hickman) Hussell; daughters, Debbie (Bill) Hall, Darlene Hussell, Deana (Lewis) Marcum, all of Point Pleasant; granddaughter, Danielle Marcum, of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Ethan Marcum, of Point Pleasant; step great-grandchildren, Jace, Amiah, Remi and Kyan Deweese; siblings, Warren Hussell and Ruth Hussell, both of Point Pleasant; and his fur baby, Muffin, who followed him everywhere.

Eddie retired from Goodyear, Shell and M&G Polymers, after 30 years of service.  He was a member of Krebs Chapel Church, where he loved his church family.  Anyone who knew Eddie knew how much he loved keeping his yard well-manicured.  During mowing season, you could find Eddie on his zero-turn mower.  Eddie loved antique tractors.  He and his son-in-law rebuilt a Farmall H and Cub, that he was proud of. He also enjoyed hunting and working in his garage.

Eddie loved attending, and was very proud of, Deana's and Donna's track meets, when they were in high school.  He watched tennis matches, wrestling matches, soccer, volleyball, football, baseball and lamb shows at the fair, of his grandchildren, Danielle and Ethan.

There will be a funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at the Crow-Hussell Funeral Home, with Pastor John Bumgardner officiating.  Burial will follow in Kirkland Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home, from 12:00 p.m., until the time of the service.
