Obituary

Edward L. "Flea" Simpkins, 69, went home to Heaven, on Friday, May 21, 2010, at Heritage Center, in Huntington. He was retired from the Quaker State Service Station, in Gallipolis. He was also a member of the First Church of God, in Point Pleasant. Flea was born September 13, 1940, in Point Pleasant, a son to the late Grace (Simpkins) Hayes.

Flea is survived by his sisters, Linda Simpkins and Anna King, both of Bidwell, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Julie Jarrell, Brandon Pratt, Angela Burns and William Burns, III. He is also survived by his longtime friend, Bucky Hayman, of Point Pleasant.

At Flea's request, there will be no public services. Flea's care has been entrusted to Crow-Hussell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the funeral home to assist with burial expenses. Condolences may be sent to www.crowhussellfh.com.
